Past grants have been used to purchase freezers, computers, appliances, copy machines and much more. Since 1964, the Alameda Community Fund and its predecessors (Alameda Clara Barton Foundation and Alameda Community Foundation) have awarded more than $900,000 in grants to Alameda non profit organizations.
